Wholistic Tennis · Beyond the scoreline

A lifetime on the court.

Fifty-two years of teaching. Thirty years running a club. A lifelong curiosity about what the game can teach us.

Still learning. Still loving the game.

I have taught tennis, on and off, for fifty-two years and ran a tennis club for thirty. Along the way, I have worked with players at every level.

What interests me now is the connection between the game and the way we live. The patience to stay with a difficult lesson. The courage to compete. The awareness to notice our own reactions. The joy of simply playing.

Why Wholistic Tennis?

Wholistic Tennis is a place to share ideas about learning and competing — ideas shaped by a spiritual curiosoty and a passion for sports in general and tennis in particular.

My goal is simple: to share articles each month and shorter reflections along the way.  An invitation for the reader to embark on a journey of self-discovery through tennis.

However, readers can take whatever speaks to them or whatever they wish.
